• Gather the exact item number, description, and any relevant pricing information.
• Include the DO# of any case that's currently blocked because the item is missing.

Important: Don't substitute a different item while you wait. Substitutions create downstream pricing and reconciliation problems that are hard to fix once an order is processed.
