What is a ‘restock’ and how do I mark it?

What the restock feature is in Helia and why you most likely don't need to use it.

The restock feature in Helia is for requesting inventory replenishment — flagging that stock needs to be sent to a facility. However, restock is not currently configured for most suppliers, which means toggling it on won't actually trigger a replenishment request in your supplier's system. It will only create a draft restock request that sits unactioned.

The short answer: don't use it

If you see a restock toggle on one of the final screens when creating a case, leave it off. Turning it on won't cause any harm, but it won't do anything useful — it won't trigger a replenishment order or send any notification to your supplier. Handle restock requests through your usual process outside of Helia.

If you accidentally toggled it on

Only web users (corporate supplier teams) can clear the restock request:

  • From the left navigation bar, click Inventory

  • Locate the restock request and click the rep name to open it

  • Click the blue Assign yourself link on the right side

  • Click Mark as complete — this closes out the request
