What does ‘auto-reject’ mean and why did it happen?

What auto-reject means, why it happens, and how to resubmit your case.

An auto-reject happens when Helia automatically sends a case back to you — not because a reviewer rejected it, but because a change was detected that requires your reconfirmation.

The most common cause

If you tap Edit on a case after it has already been submitted, Helia automatically rejects it back to you. This is by design — it ensures the facility always reviews the most current version of your submission.

What to do

  • Open the case and review all details to confirm everything is accurate.

  • Make any intended corrections.

  • Tap Submit — the case goes back to the facility for normal review.

Tip: If you didn’t intend to edit the case and it still auto-rejected, check whether a required field was flagged.
