How do I update the date of surgery on a case I already submitted?

How to correct the date of surgery on a case that’s already been submitted.

Once a case is submitted, a rep cannot change the date of surgery from the app — but the facility team can update it directly from their web platform. This is the fastest path to a correction.

If you need the date corrected

  • Reach out to the facility’s supply chain coordinator or billing team and ask them to update the date of surgery on the order in Helia.

  • The facility can edit this field directly from their Delivery Orders view without rejecting the case back to you.

    Please note: the Helia team is unable to assist with changing the date of surgery, this can only be completed by the facility.

Tip: Double-check the date before you submit — it should match your records exactly. Discrepancies can cause the order to be flagged or mismatched during reconciliation.
