Can our team edit case information after a rep submits?

What facility staff can edit directly on a submitted case without rejecting it.

Yes — facility staff have the ability to make certain corrections directly from the web platform without needing to reject the case back to the rep. This is faster and keeps the order moving.

What facility staff can edit

  • Procedure The procedure can be updated directly on the order if it was submitted incorrectly by the rep.

  • Patient information Patient name, date of birth, and patient ID can be edited directly on the order.

  • Date of surgery The date of surgery can be updated directly from the Delivery Orders view.

  • Case ID The case ID can be edited directly on the order.

  • PO number If a PO was entered incorrectly, it can be edited by clicking the blue (Edit) link next to the PO number on the status track. Note: you must have the PO assigner role to make this edit.

  • Activity feed comments Comments can be added and colleagues or reps can be tagged using the @ symbol at any time.

What cannot be changed without rejecting

  • Items, quantities, and item details — these require the rep to make corrections and resubmit.

  • Facility (the facility on the case cannot be changed after submission — if the wrong facility was selected, the case needs to be deleted and resubmitted).

Tip: If the field has an edit option visible to you, it’s yours to update. If not, reject with a clear comment and the rep will fix it.
