What training is available for reps at our facility?

How supplier reps are trained on Helia, what the onboarding process looks like, and what to do if a rep says they weren't notified.

When your health system goes live on Helia, our team works directly with each supplier's corporate team to ensure their reps are trained and ready before the go-live date. Here's what that process looks like.

How reps are notified and trained

Suppliers already in the Helia ecosystem have their corporate teams provide us with a list of their local rep contacts for your facilities. We then reach out to those reps directly to complete a brief, on-demand training — typically around 20 minutes.

Reps are not given account access until their training has been completed and verified. Once training is confirmed, they receive their account setup instructions and are ready to submit cases on or after go-live.

In addition to the video training, reps are provided with training materials to reference as they get started.

What if a rep says they weren't notified?

This can happen for a few reasons:

  • The rep's contact information wasn't included in the list provided by the supplier's corporate team. This is the most common cause.

  • The rep recently joined the territory and wasn't included in the original onboarding.

  • The training communication may have landed in their spam or junk folder.

If a rep at your facility hasn't been trained or doesn't have access, send them to how-do-i-get-access-to-helia-connect-as-a-rep.

Note: Reps cannot submit cases until their training is complete and their account is active. If a rep is telling you they're unable to submit, this is the most likely cause.
